Remove carbon from filters and you can add the medication now. Make sure you follow the directions. I just got rid of ick in my tank. Took about 1 week. Did the medication, 86degF & aquarium salt trick.

My parrot seems to be swimming around good today. He doesn't seem to have much energy to eat thoe. So Should I do a 25% water change today and continue to treat the tank with another dose for a couple more days?? Also should I put new/The filters back in?? The tank is kinda dirty and water does...

Yes the carbon filters. It says on the directions to remove them. Is there a different/better Ick med out there that I can try? I've had someone tell me coppersafe? anyone ever use this?
