Haha we do! I almost went with cherry barbs but I was worried they might nip the angel fish. But I also have albino Corys, pearl gouramis, and bolivian rams. Is that a german ram i See?
I also have a bristlenose hiding somewhere in there.
Ill be moving the guppies and balloon rams to their own...

Thank you so much! I was afraid I would hurt the fish if I changed too much of the water out. But that definitely makes more sense that I'm just leaving all the bad stuff in there. I'll try that today and check back.
Never used activated carbon. I have a decent amount of plants in there but not a lot like the fully planted ones. If my cycle completed wouldn't I have at least some detectable amount of nitrate?
No dead anything and my plants are fine although I only have two live plants in there. Rinsed my filter when I did my reading but it didn't seem abnormally dirty or gunked up. I'll upload a picture tomorrow!
