    Have I Overstocked?

As much as i value general advice, this is all starting to sound a bit dodgy. So my tiny, 1 inch max gouramis are unsuitable, but a Betta that can grow to almost three times the size and due to selective breeding to achive all the fancy colours, are probably too stupid to find the air, is fine...

    Have I Overstocked?

Why would they be unsuitable? Bettas grow to larger sizes than any of my current fish, for example.

    Have I Overstocked?

I now have 2 otos, 4 cherry shrimps, 6 sparkling gouramis and 2 feathertail rainbowfish. The people at my LFS said it'd be fine but I get the impression from reading around that its not. Im doing weekly water changes of round 30%. Edit- left out an important little detail here :). 23l fluval edge

    Omg

Dont have any problem with them eating snails etc, im not a vege and even flake food contains a dead animal, its not really any different. Its the size of clown loaches though that's the problem, 2 inches it says there but they grow massive...

    Newbie Aquascaping- Suggestions

That one looks really nice, would I need stuff like CO2 and fertilisers to keep that kind of stuff? And yeah, id love a sort of moss carpet near the front, and possibly on some rocks.

    Newbie Aquascaping- Suggestions

Theyre the new LEDs for Fluval Edge, looks brighter in the picture though- the cameras doing. Just spent the best part of two hours swapping sand for gravel, I could always switch back but I wanted to see which looks best- I think its gravel though.

    Newbie Aquascaping- Suggestions

Sorry about the awful pic quality, was taken on a phone. Ideally id like a quite simple looking tank, with lots of moss and plants at the back to hide the heater/intake tube. The wood is the only part that im dead set on keeping, so dont limit the critisms, thats why im asking :). Cheers!

    Planting A Fluval Edge

How important is soaking bogwood then? I have bogwood from my LFS in (incidentally) my edge that I rinsed and cleaned with tonic salts but after that I just put it in. Had it for over a month and the fish seem fine, the water is stained slightly tea coloured but after replacing my activated...

    Threadfin Rainbowfish Dying/agressive

I dont think so, theyre barely an inch long and the tanks not crowded. I reckon it could be that theres too few in fact- due to the two dying early on.

    Tropical Livestock Classified?

Just wondering why there's no freshwater livestock classified? As in no fish/inverts swap/sale? This isn't so much of a suggestion as it is a question, as it seems like an obvious addition that has been considered and decided against. All I saw was the planted section, nevermind...

    Dark Souls

If anyone does buy it, bear in mind that you wont have fun playing it. All the reviews are accurate in that there is an immense sense of satisfaction when you finally kill that boss, get past those archers, etc etc. Its not fun, but it is enjoyable.
