I have 13 2-month-old fry and 3 3-week old fry. Should I try aquarium salts as well?

It seems that the whole tank might benefit from adding salts. I worry about quarantining her, I have a spare 2.5g but don't want to stress her out more. I am also going out of town for 2 days leaving my husband here to try and do all this! So should I go get aquarium salts to add? Anything else...
