i don't have one yet, but i was going to get one on my next pay, the poly has been really active today swimming around pretty much every time i look at him. so should i get a sponge with the bacteria stuff already in it? i think the lfs sells them with it already in it. i was looking at them...

well, that was his tank and then he didn't want it any more so i took it, but what do you mean by media? and yeah he has been pretty active and how would i cycle it? like i said i'm new to all of this so yeah gotta explain some things :P thanks for all the help

uhmm the filter i'm not really too sure about cause my brother bought it a while ago for when he had the tank setup, and when i set it up i put in my new rocks and all my decos: i got a log, castle, big rock for him to hide in, and then put in somewhat warm water then put in water treatment...

ill get a pic of it tonight cause i'm not too sure of the exact species it is, and i'll post it on here

oh and also my tank is a 35 galon if that will make a difference, not sure or not
