Hi, I'm very confused right now. I put ammonia in to 4ppm 2 weeks ago then it slowly dropped to 0. I add enough to get it to one everyday. The ammonia keeps dropping, but I have no readings of nirate or nirates. I am using the api master test kit. Thank you

My 10 gallon tank is currently fishless cycling and I am very confused. 7 days ago I put enough ammonia in the tank to get the readings to around 4 ppm. Around 3 days later I tested it for ammonia and nitrites. Nitrites seemed to be almost .5 ppm, and ammonia looked like 3 ppm. I was too busy...
