does the filter look ok? i got some melafix today going to begin is dose tomorow, he seems to eat and swim fine but likes to rest alot. his fins seem to have stopped rotting, where there was holes all the fins have dissapeared :(

shall i turn the filter off? how do i find out if its carbon, im pretty sure its a sponge filter. ive reduced the water level down to around 4 inches , i dont like plastic plants , ive only got real ones, would one of these be ok? and what would be the best temperature for the tank. sorry about...

my betta has fallen ill with fin rot, so today i bought him his own 5 gallon tank, as some of u said my other tank was over crowded. ive basically set the tank up like a proper aquarium i.e backing, gravel and an aqua flow filter. my local pet store sold me "waterlife myxazin" for the fin rot...

ive had my male betta for a week now and today i noticed itsfins have started to rot, whats usually the cause of tis i do a 50% water change every week to kep th tank clean. i really want to get him better as it took me a long time to source a white betta in my area any help would be appreciated

ok i will have to wait till the morning before i can do this, they do seem to be getting more active swiming around alot more. whats the right amount of bettas to keep in a tank this size? sorry about all the questions

the plecs are tiny around 2 cm each, i thought it would have been ok do i just put the shelled peas into the tank?

i didnt know id overstocked, im only a newb :blush: any particular reason for not keeping the male with the females, the bloating only occured during and after feeding, they seem to be using there front fins as stands, the male and plecs seem to be fine though

hey everyone, i bought some female bettas today and after feeding them they all look really bloating and have been sitting on the tank floor for a while now only going to the top when they need air? anyone tell me if this is normal? or have i overfed them or even worse is my water not right...
