These amanos are either growing balls or are taking steroids lol.
Oh yeh maybe could be end of human race and time of the Yamato shrimp (prob call them self aryan race shrimp) and rule the 7 seas of the world!!!! Muhahhahahaha.
On serious note they ate my fancy unique guppies....
ok new update..... i no longer have guppies left due to the feast the shrimps had. My cousin said he would take them off me but to keep them there few days as his wife was expecting. Since my last post they have now eaten a perfectly healthy Harlequin Rasbora. i only saw the body they were...
I'll for you later. You can check this thread. You can see pics of mine and one further down someone else posted. Or maybe even google images.
I'm out at moment but will try later.
Yeh I feed them bloodworms. My cousin has decided to take them off me but is having second thoughts after seeing one chasing a tetra for few moments.
One thing I have noticed though is that there seems to be 2 types of amano shrimp. The one that someone posted earlier, they seem to be friendly...
I'd agree if it wasn't for the guppy in the first pic wasn't a day old in perfect health. I've been searching on net and it defo isnt uncommon and is known to happen
i got my own liquid test kits at home and all seems perfect.
So took sample down to pets at home and yorkshire aquatics and the tests are perfect.
i noticed another thing earlier that as soon as the fish rest on the bottom they pounce on them.
i think i better get rid of them... best bet
Right i'm back. i cant take pics of the shrimp as they are hiding between things at back of the tank. i can most definitely say they look exactly the same. they got the same distinct line down the back. the claws are same length also the style freckles on the sides. and the build and size are same.
Cant say if its the same four but yeh thats them. and yup i saw them attacking the guppy. actually come thing of it the SAE jhas got injuries on the side as one of the shrimp attacked while eating an algae wafer, the shrimp have only been doing this once they have grown a bit
yeh here you go:
As requested!.

Thanks for replying all
