awesome. i would use the fluval 4 in the tank for extra flow... those ehiems don't put out that much flow... actually i wonder why eheim can;t make an external with high flow rates? they make plenty of powerful pumps

Love the pics... congrats. the tank is looking lovely. you might want to get some wood for the plec... mopani wood or similar... they like to shelter on it and rasp it... he might also be happier with a hiding place he can fit in. I used to use a section of 4" drain pipe covered in rocks...

lol.... he just gave plenty of valid reasons to use them. Aqua essentials are hugely overpriced on everything. The chances are, if it takes 12 days that they place an order from their supplier and then ship to you - i.e. the plants are not in the UK postal system for 12 days. Also...

Hi all, I just received 2 fluval U4 internal filters. So far i'm really pleased with them. The build quality seems very high. They look good, too. There is a lot of media in them (for an internal filter) as they each have 2 x foam blocks, 2 x carbon / fine sponges and a central chamber...

No... a mixture couple of common, couple of marble... one gold,one silver/grey... will sort out a decent pic No C02 - started dosing easycarbo this week.... most of the growth is down to the potting soil base layer i think (and the fact that they're undemanding plants to begin with!) Might...

On the left it's crypt wendtii var. 'brown' from tropica, on the left it's becketii var. 'brown' TBH they were much greener when bought...
