    Angelfish Eggs...leave or remove?

I guess I won't be cleaning that tank as usual today. She's pretty adamant about keeping everyone else away (including my hand)! Sassy! I stay up in water changes and nitrates are below 20 so it should be fine for another week. 🙂

    Angelfish Eggs...leave or remove?

Apparently, the angelfish I "adopted" from a friend is not male, as she thought, but female. My lovely Copernicus has made herself a nice nest in one of my tiger lotus leaves. I don't have a male, so my question is, should I leave them there, or remove them? Does it matter? I'm glad she's...

Now I've Done It: Yoyo Loach Question

Ha, anewbie! Thanks for the info, and the mental image of your funny clowns dashing away if you dared to look had me actually laughing out loud! Thanks again, TwoTanks. I love the angel as well, but I'm a bit apprehensive, as I've not had great luck with them before. But tetras were the same...

Now I've Done It: Yoyo Loach Question

Thanks TwoTankAmin. I have read about other instances of that as well, and from what I'm getting here and other places, it sounds like yoyos are happiest in groups, but also kind of like my dogs -braver and more likely to cause trouble when in a "pack". Max has been with this angel for three...

Now I've Done It: Yoyo Loach Question

I don't know that there's room in there for five more, if they all get as big as him. Love the tubing idea! Thanks!

Now I've Done It: Yoyo Loach Question

Hi all - long time, no post (though I read nearly every day - so much great information and pictures!). Forgive my long-winded post here...probably TMI, but better more than less, eh? Recently a friend who is closing out her tanks gave me a 3 year old angelfish and an 8-10 yr old yoyo loach...

Cleaning up medicated tank for ADFs

I just lost my last betta a couple weeks ago (tumors), and I'm done with labyrinth fish, for awhile at least. My four ADFs are currently in a 6 gallon corner tank, and I'd like to clean out and redo my long, shallow 6 gallon bookshelf tank for them instead (and "retire" the corner tank, which is...
