once when doing a water change i heard a slight ticking noise, i got down low to try and find the source and on a cd next to my tank was my bamboo shrimp! god knows how he got out of there lol
Great tank for my back ground I used window tint usually used for cars not only does it bring the colours out of your fish it also blocks a bit of UV coming from the sunlight that hits my tank meaning less of an algae boom, also very cheap
hi first post here,
basically i had a spare 10 gal tank and fancied a species tank, i went to the LFS and saw a small brown crayfish probably about 1inch in a tank with cichlids having a hard time i felt sorry for him so impulse bought him.
however i do not know what species it is at all and i...
when i had my adf cherry shrimp also lived in the tank and the frog maybe ate a few shrimps but i never really noticed, i did notice him munching on a few dead ones over his time in the tank but i think its a good match for tank mates
The best fish for this is definitely the banjo catfish i have 2 in my tank i never see them just there mouths poking through the sand waiting for food! they move the sand perfectly and remove all air pockets, my vote is for banjo catfish
I had gravel and wanted sand so I removed the gravel by hand/net and placed the sand in by hand slowly because it can take days to settle if just dumped in! made that mistake before!!
