sorry LL, i thought it could have been posted before but wasn't sure what to search for.

but there IS air in there. he has airstones in them. i know how a vacuum works..without air. that's the point of my post. i am asking how this is possible WITH a continuous airflow, as shown in these videos.

i'm not talking about the bioload. you have to watch further into the videos to see how the tank is set up and what i'm talking about. it's some magical pressure thing. edit:the main video in the link doesn't show the whole tank. watch any of the other videos to see how he has his tanks set up...

i wouldn't waste your money. i tried it once and half of the sand wouldn't sink and i couldn't get it to rinse clean. it also occured to me that even though the bag said non-toxic, that didn't necessarily mean it was fish-safe. i just threw mine out.

thanks. i have only seen blue elite tubing here in the US. (this is what we have everywhere- blue elite tubing ) i would like to find a supplier in the US to avoid ridiculous shipping costs.

i see that eheim makes green vinyl tubing, but i can't find green silicone tubing.

anyone know where to find it? i'm sick of the blue stuff that doesn't blend in with my planted tanks.

you need to breed that thing asap!!! you will definately make "silly" money with some of those! i'd buy them!

oh come on-you can always find room for tanks! just get rid of your fridge, washer, dryer, etc... you get the idea... :D in my last apartment i pretty much chose tanks over furniture... who needs a sofa when youve got a 60g? i cant believe there are actually apartments still available in auburn...

i know you have scratching posts but have you thought about getting some cat furniture? i would think cat furniture would be much more attractive to them with so many surfaces to scratch and levels to climb.

i would love to find a vase like that. all the vases i have seen are too narrow or too expensive :( do you know where the vase came from?
