Well I went to all 3 Pet Stores we have here and wouldn't you know it?! No one has heaters good enough for my tank!! :( That is just my luck.... With the light on the temp. stays at 78 but when I turn it off it starts dropping to 72....So....I don't know what to do! Should I just leave it on all...

I think it is cruel too... I walk in our pet stores and see huge empty tanks and I'm like "Why can't they divide those up and put the bettas in there?" Atleast they will have a filter and clean water, etc. Unlike those stupid tiny cups!!! Dirty blue/clear water. I think they just forget about...

I was just wondering if it is okay to leave my Bettas tank light on all the time...Or if I should turn it off in the morning and on at night, or vice versa.... And just a little update on people who remember me, but doubt they would. Ghost and Ivan both passed away.... :sad: I burried them...

Thank you for all your advice!! I am sure I will be helping others out as I continue to learn. :) And I will keep you updated on poor Ivan's condition! :) Hopefully it is just a swim bladder problem and with a tiny pea everything will be alright. Say, how does a pea help that sort of thing??

I agree that they love the space. My two are in 5 gal tanks and they love it. Swim around all day...well one does. The other Ivan is not doing so well.. But when he was better and young he loved it!! It is cruel to see them in those stupid plastic cups at PetSmart and Walmart. I just want to buy...

He is beautiful!! Love the color! :) And I also agree that he looks like a crowntail.
