i just read that you dont nessasarily have to have live rock, just get some cheap fish and some tufa, and start the hobby off that way :D this is what im gonna do. i have good filtration and lighting, so im gonna go for it, only thing is i dont know where to start, adding salt ( how much ) etc...

problem is the tank is setup now, all the tuffa nicely stacked up, so i dont want to disturb it, cant i do it the other way around? start with tufa, then add live rock which would eventually impregnate it? btw, do i buy it live ? or is it just ocean rock that would become live, it may sound...
