Hi, i have a 10 gallon tank with an aquaclear 30 filter. I recently changed to sand and my filter just stops (because of sand coming in), so i have to constantly fix it. Anyone know a good filter to use? ps. i tried adding a strainer to stop sand from coming in but it didnt work :unsure:

im wondering how to make a blackwater extract for my 5 gallon mini amazon aquarium (it has 2 skirt tetras in it) and i heard of boiling oak leaves but i want some thing better because i dont have much oak trees around my home

oh ya i forgot to add i tried to add my 1.5 inch triop in my goldfish tank (goldfish were 3.5 inches) a few months ago but it got eaten :( but thats why im gonna try it with a community tank this time

1 yes it is a 75 gallon tank i use my gravel vacuum and tank out 30% of water per week i said topfin box filter i dont know the model i just know that it is the biggest model i sometimes add topfin 30 box filter when the tank gets too dirty IVE BEEN SAYING ALL THIS! carefully read the posts...

im sorry i didnt add enough info ive been so busy, my camera is broken right now so i cant take pics :( my filteration system is top fin box filter its a big one (sometimes i put my top fin 30 filter in there incase the tank gets too dirty) and i do vacuum the gravel the test kit is nutrafin

all community small fish biggest fish is 2 inches i also have ghost shrimp

anyone heard of triops because im thinking of adding them to my 10 gallon community fish tank they grow 2 inches is it okay if i add them?

yes i vacuum the water every water change and i feed my fish 2 times a day

i feed my fish cichlid flakes and blood worms and some people say that my oscar has bloat because of the bump on his chest
