ok then to cycle the tank i went to a D.I.Y store got a bottle of ammoina whent to my lfs got a filter squeeze and kept the ammoina level at 4ppm for a week then let the ammiona,nitrate,nirite get to 0ppm and the pH to 7.2 (questionale) i was told that was ok.

yes the tank has cycled i have taken a water sample to my lfs and they have told me it is ok and they are the fish they told me toput in cos they are easy to keep and i dont no what to put in with them that wont attack them

hello now i have my new tank lid i have got 5 silvertips and wanted some idears on what i can put with them that are colourful not to big i want more little ones then a few big ones. thaks for your help Tom

i have sent an emale to tetra thay have replyed to me saying they have had some problems with power serges they are sending me new lid

i am in the uk the fitting is just over 10 inch long i am new to fish keeping so do not no what size things are yet i was given the tank in the condition it is in with no bulb

thanks for the welcome, The light fitting has burnt out the only way to fix it is to get a new one.
