Thanks for the replies, well i have a decent samsung 5mp digital camera and it's great but i find it hard when taking pics of fish and the tank they always seem to be a bit blurry, i wish i could take some better pictures.

Currently i have my betta in a 12 gal tank, i am not sure whether to keep him on his own permanently or whether to add a few fish to keep him company as i feel sorry for him being on his own.
I was thinking along of the lines of maybe 5 rasboras and a small pleco that only grows to 4" or 5"...

After doing a 40% water change today i have done a 50% water change and my levels are:-
Ammonia 0.2mg
Nitrite 1.5mg
P.H 7.5
I've managed to get the ammonia done quite a bit but the nitrite is not going down, i will probably do another 40%-50% water change tomorrow and see what happens.
Firstly i use sand as my substrate and i have 2 fluval 4 internal filters in my tank, i notice that when i go to clean my sponges the filters are very hard to open due to the fact sand has got into the filters, sand is much better than gravel though isnt it? especially when you have cory's...
I've done a 40% water change today and the water levels are still the same, I have not got any aquasafe left so tomorrow i will buy some more and do another 40% water change.
