Ah well that’s a relief! Yeah it is as it appears in the photo, solid gold spots. No other fish are affected and no unusual behaviours. Perhaps a new colour scheme for the little guy then. 😄

Oh really? It happened overnight so I was quite shocked. The only thing I could find online that it could be was velvet, I asked in a few pet shops as well and they said velvet too.

He hasn’t been doing that so far. I bought a treatment for velvet just in case and am preparing to remove the shrimp from that tank to a separate one. I am a bit unsure because he did not have that even last night he was perfectly normal but this morning I woke up and he’s covered in yellow spots!
