    African Violets?

I find they do better when there is more light. Are you into Gloxinia too since they are quite similar?

Can Someone Tell Me A Bit More About Trumpet Snails Please

They are livebearers and do not lay eggs. You will see tiny miniature MTS all over the place sooner or later.

    African Violets?

Those are small house plants in the UK, Simon. Sure you can keep a few of them  @LeviathanGirl I used to keep a few african violets (don't know the varieties) but never really took good care of them and lost them over the years . I particularly liked the minature varieties (both...

    Dwarf Puffers With Corydora?

From personal experience, cories are not suitable tank mates but obviously a lot depends on temperaments of your DPs. You could try keeping a breeding colony of cherry shrimps or a few big Amano shrimps instead of the cories. I would think about 6-8 DPs should be fine in a 29 gallon. They do...

    Can Anyone Identify This Shrimp?

If the eggs are of the same size of cherry eggs then they are quite likely to be orange cherries. Good luck :D

    Can Anyone Identify This Shrimp?

Hope they turn out to be cherries. It's actually a bit more complicated to breed caridina cf. propinqua. I like all shrimps anyway :D

    Can Anyone Identify This Shrimp?

If your orange ones are cherrys, then yes........ but from your pics, the orange ones look more like caridina cf. propinqua in body shape

    Dwarf Puffer Tank Set Up

They are not fussed about what plants you have in the tank. Anubias, ferns, crypts, mosses, stem plants....... anything you like really as long as you've got plenty in there together with lots of nooks and crannies for them to explore and sleep in.

Is This Ghost Shrimp Carrying Eggs?

It looks like an Amano shrimp to me. Here's a pic of one of my Amano shrimps carrying eggs. You can compare. The eggs are much much smaller than cherry shrimp eggs.

    Help With Amano Shrimp

Did you put new plants in the same day you bought the shrimps? This might worth a read. http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?sid=4831

    Pea Puffers!

Some of mine grow/grew to almost 2 inches tip to tip and they are "bulky" so not all that tiny in boby mass terms. Coudn't agree more  And... hope we are talking imperial/uk gallons. They are not difficult to breed at all. It's raising the fry that's difficult. Fry need to be raised...

    Brine Shrimp Hatching

Sorry, I have not used decapsulated brine shrimp eggs myself so can't really recommed any to you. I guess you should give it a little longer to see if any hatching happens. Regards to the salt level, I use 2 tablespoon cooking salt per litre and at room temperature (cooler temp. takes a little...

    Brine Shrimp Hatching

Are you sure these are the ones for hatching? Some shell-less brineshrimp eggs are for straight feeding and not for hatching
