Funny :lol: but even thinking of a dead fish makes me queasy and puts me off my lunch :sick: anyhow, was just pondering on whether it has any significance... if this later becomes the basis of some research, you know who to give the credit to 8-)

Hello, I've noticed that when I go into my LFS, the fish there die and float at the top of the tank. In some stores, I've seen them at the bottom of the tank. I had a platy die once, but it was at the bottom of the tank. I was wondering if there is some reason for a dead fish to float or sink...

Yeah, they do tend to mouth at the food that I put in, but not as greedily or readily as the larger platys that I have. Makes me wonder if they even know that its food :blink: Thanks btw

How do you know they are eating Wilky87? I have 7 platy fry, a few days old and I'm really not sure if they are eating :crazy: Maybe the size/roundness of their stomachs? How do you tell? Congrats on the fry! Keep posting pics, I'm interested in knowing the progress.
