SOOOOOOOOOOOO we burried Lucifer the other day in our pet cemetary.......it was a sad day but now we need to decide what to do with our tank.......thinking maybe angelfish but not sure .......anyway thnks guys and gals for your help
well whatever was wroung with my oscar Lucifer doesn't matter anymore.............I woke up this morning and found him laying on the bottom of his tank dead....................It's a sad day @ my house I can tell you that I never thought that I would become attached to a fish like I did...
ok so for an update my oscar is not in good shape he has beaten up his/her lower jaw soooo bad now that it is all white also he has a big scratch on the left side of his head and every once in a while he looks like he is gasping for air .......so i am a little scared that Lucifer is really sick...
nope there is no ceiling fan or something like that to freak him out it really bothers me though cuz now he has the whole bottom of his moth beat up really bad. It's almost like he's doing for attenion. But when i go out to see him he sometimes stops and sometimes doesn't... I don't know he...
So I'm sitting doing a little reading on this site this morning and the next thing I hear is water spashing everywhere. My Oscar is furiously splashing the water all over the place. I thoght maybe he was hungry so I tried to feed him but he has no interest in it. So I turned he light off think...
So last night i walked out in to the kitchen where lucifer's tank is turned on the lights
in the room opened the top of his tank and BAM he FREAKS swimming back and forth
at the top of the water like he was gasping for air it was really wierd. I thought he was
going to jump out of his tank...
Lucifer right now lives on a diet of peas, shrimp, pellets, brine shrinp
and blood worms oooo and the occasional feeder guppy.
If it were me i would get bored of the same thing over and over.
What else can I feed him?

After two days of treating the tank with epsom salts and one treatment of buffer up Lucifer is FINE.........Thank God. He is eating out of my fingers swimming around being and Oscar not laying on his side anymore.......

ok so we tested our water again last night and the ph was really low so we added some buffer up
to stablize the ph. I hope that it works. not sure if we should add the epsom salts where we added the
buffer up. Anyone know if it will hurt him? As for the tank we know it's too small but a new...
Water is good no worries on that part. Lucifer is about 4 inches long and the tank has be up and running for about 6 months is HAD tetras in it until we put him in it
