Sounds like the Interpet IPF's to me (cylinder shaped bodies, corner mounting) Most internal filters are designed with submersion of part of the mains cable in mind. Something to check is that the mains cable hasn't been chaffed from the filter sliding down the tank. mouse

Blue Ram is correct, bathroom (indeed most silicone based bonders) have various chemicals in them which ARE toxic to fish. I would reccommend removing the rocks and re-doing them with the aquarium stuff. mouse
