i will, most likely go buy the kit tomorrow, im just worrying now, that im not going to see him swimming around tomorrow morning -_- any ideas on my he could be acting so "scared"? Also as of now he seems to be resting near the top of the tank on his little plant that I have in there :(

he is in a 1 gallon tank, i will be changing his water more often now. He is alone, and sry if it sounds stupid, but how do i check all those levels?

I have had my betta for about a month and a half, I change his water once a week, letting it settle for 24 hours and putting conditioner in it as well. Recently he has been acting weird, when I go near the tank he goes crazy and swims kinda spasticly, like he got scared, he makes sudden jerky...
