Thanks for the reply... So I should maybe cut the media in half (old and new) and use half old and half new media? Then after a couple of weeks replace the old half with the other new half? Would that be ok do you think? Thanks

I have a small Fluval 1 filter which has been in my tank since setup 6 months ago. Could anyone give me any advice on how often I should be changing the sponge media inside? And if I get another sponge for the filter do I just swap it? Will it affect the levels of amonia and other levels in the...
