It should hold the tank if it says it holds 300 lbs.
I usually just buy cheap small dressers from goodwill stores, 10 gallon is not that heavy. I ask my 240 lb friend to stand on the dresser to see if holds steady.
I had a 50 gallon tank sit on a big dresser for years.
Hey guys can you help a fellow fish keeper confirming type of fish :) it's labeled fathead goby at my LFS.
I'm thinking it's a sleeper goby. If I can get identification I'd know what's to look up for. Thanks in advance
They both might have zig zag eel as a common name...
But the smaller one is Macrognathus circumcinctus, Half banded spiny eel
And the bigger one is Mastacembelus Armatus, Tire Track Eel
Never really kept a Tyretrack Eel, only the smaller zig zag eel. I considered getting a fire eel before but being picky eaters I didn't bother.
All I know is Tyretrack Eels get huge and you will need a tank upwards a 100 gallon.
IME they were good tankmates but I also have them in a 180gallon. My female convict just get aggressive when she lays eggs and only attack my Oscar when it gets too close to her eggs.
My Oscar is about 5 times bigger. My Oscar is not scared of my Convict its just that my convict is much faster...
I kept dwarf puffers before. And I tried them with different fish but in the end they're better off by themselves. Its easier to find tankmates for some aggressive cichlids than a Dwarf puffer.
They are smarter than most fish and opportunistic. They wait for the right time to nip at they're...
There are 2 types of upside down catfish that I know of
I currently keep a 10 inch Mystus Leucophasis mine come out quite a bit from his cave during the day, less nowadays cuz my Oscar getting a bit aggressive.
I haven't kept Synodontis Nigreventris tho but I heard they're quite shy and needs...
