I am in need of a new pump for a 55l marine tank. It must be extremely quiet, unnoticeable would be perfect. Ideally one where I do not need to use a Venturi air line either. Any recommendations?

Just wondered what peoples opinions are of biorb tanks. What are the pumps like? I particularly want to know hw noisy the pumps are. Thanks for any help

Earlier today I purchased my first aquarium, an Aquanano 40. When I got home I unpacked the tank with the enclosed pump and heater, but unfortunately the lamp was missing. The box appeared to have been unopened or tamped with in any way, so I can only presume that the lamp was never in the box...

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me twice. So the tank will work ok without the Venturi? How does the air get into the water for the pump then? Sorry for so many questions but I am new to all of this and don't want to mess it up. Thanks again.

It isn't noisy if I don't attach the Venturi, but is the pump then just pushing water instead of air? Or is there going to be enough air getting in to the water so that the pump can still function without the Venturi?

I am in the process of setting up my first tank using a 102 maxi aqua one pump. I have used the Venturi and air line but the pump is extremely noisy. Now looking again through the booklet it says that not everyone will need to use this attachment. Can anyone help because I have no idea whether...
