ive been feeding my oscars pellets&the odd goldfish
ive tried the odd bit of veg but ive been lookn up on the net and sumone says to feed them peas?wot kind of peas as i dont wanna go and open a tin of biggas and just tip them in :good:
any other ideas on food? they wont even look at...
my oscars have been clearin the gravel off the bottom ,making like a big ditch .the bottom is completely clear of gravel and it is like a nest would look
one of them is constantly hovering over the area and the other makes sure my plec gets nowhere near :good:

hes about 7 inches, a common plec.im gettin rid of him soon though as i think hes gonna outgrow the tank :unsure:
id like to get a smaller one for the bottom
nah hes not grumpy,he loves the kids to play with him,hes even took a shine to our labrador.he usually hides under her when hes tired after wandering round the living room
been lookin at wot you lot been sayin so ive been todlookin at a bigger tank,seen a 6 foot tank for £300 with everything and stand
maybe gettin at the end of the month if all goes well

ive kept oscars before,ive had 3 different pairs and a 4 ft tank has always been big enough for them
ive ust put a couple of apple snails in today,the oscars love to attack them though

if these fish are Mystus schilbe how do i know if one is pregnant?one of them seems to have a really fat stomach whereas the other has nothing
and do they lay eggs or live fish? :blush:

ive kept oscars in the past but theyve always fought every now and again,but these 2 just get along great :rolleyes:
