the pet store says the water is good a little high in ph but after talking to her she said it sounds like the air stomes might be sucking in smoke from the wood stove since i put the pump om the top of the fish tank just recently. any comments wwould be appreciated! i have since unplugged the...

im back water tested good ph a little high but the pet store owner had some good insight get this shee thinks the smoke from the wood stove is getting into the air stone pump as i just moved it from the floor to a position ontop of the tank!!! any replies about this would be appreciated

spots-no cysts-no color fading on placo {algae eater} looks lighter and is on side of tank near top before on air stone both rare for him! fish sluggish eyes not cloudy no gill problems seen no rubbing but loss of equalibrium in sharks not so much in tetras sharks just hanging on at bottom of tank

i forgot i just introduced two 6" air stones within the past week or so also im home alone with no car at the moment and no way to get to the pet store and frustrated !!!

dont fish usuallsy show signs of sickness due to water change before weeks after the chamge the problem seemed to start after the addition of the blue colored fish with little wiskers that scrounge food from the bottom that i got at the pet store within the last week or so
