Blue Ram, you have put my mind at ease thank you!! although I would say about 70% of the wood has this white fuzz- it that too much? also any idea where I can get just plain ammonia - so that I can cycle without fish? thanks for your help, Kim

thanks for the welcome! I have had a good look at the pinned threads, but none of them mention bubbles or "white Fuzz" which is why I posted, sorry if if I'm being paranoid!
