Desert Gobies

My gobies are sitting on top of the floaters. All 3 are doing this. Is this something that’s normal for gobies? I have never seen it before. They are pretty much out of water.

And my ph is at 6.0 to 6.4. Literally no wood in the tank. It’s a rock and plant set up for my cichlids.

He’s probably getting old. Bettas shape change as they age. Does he have heat? Fish usually loose shape when kept in cold water.

I noticed yesterday a bright blood red blotch directly on top of my female Tiger Teddies head. I don’t know what this can be. Any ideas? I have a few ideas but want to be sure before I start medicating. Don’t want to loose this pair as they are more rare to find.
