I've used Flourish Excel in the past and do not anymore. If you need C02, go with a real C02 reactor otherwise forget the liquid form. I do not have a reactor myself and using the Flourish comprehensive supplement with the flourish tabs (for the rooted plants) is more than sufficient.

~30g is WAY too small for a rainbow shark alone... and then you add 3 clown loaches and you're extremely overstocked. Each of these fish will grow to at least 6 inches... the loaches probably more than that. Also, from experience, fully expect the shark to go after the barbs on a fairly regular...

Hi there! It's hard to know if you're overstocked since you don't actually give us the number of fish in there but I will assume that you've got the "1 inch of fish per gallon" rule covered. I'd personally add a pair of bolivian rams... they llok cool and are very peaceful fish... would fit in...

Hi All! New to the forum. I have a 32g tank stocked with 1 Rainbow Shark, 1 Kribensis, 2 white clouds, 7 Tiger Barbs, and 5 cardinals. I stumbled on the site by mistake and am now happy to have done so. :-)
