    Mild, Relaxed Shoaling Fish

Red eye tetras for the top half of the tank. Bleeding heart tetras for the bottom half. Both can swim very quickly if needed (eg. at feeding time) but generally just hang there or gently cruise around most of the time.

    My 130G Tank

As others have said, long term the jag and snakehead could pose some problems with your current stock. But, it's always worth a try with juveniles to see if you can grow them up to interact with other fish that an newly introduced adult would simply not tolerate. Anyway, can I say that your...

Some Of My Fish (Picture Heavy)

Lovely fish and tank. All the cichlids appear to get on surprisingly well with each other. Well done !

    Hardy, Long Lived Cichlids

As was suggested earlier, the turquoise sev is just a colour morph of green sev. Having said that, the whole species classification of severums is complete chaos at the moment, with so many disagreeing views. As far as I understand, the general concensus is that greens, golds, red spots, belem...

    Hardy, Long Lived Cichlids

Once the sev is adult is would simply make it more difficult to introduce other cichlids. Not impossible, just not quite as easy as when the sev was young. Any adult cichlid, once established in a territory, is going to be rather unpredictable in how it responds to any newcomers. In general...

    Hardy, Long Lived Cichlids

I think a severum is an excellent idea for a centrepiece fish. They are generally very sturdy and hardy animals. They can be grumpy and intolerant of other cichlids at times (especially other sevs), although are generally very accepting of smaller, non-cichlid, tankmates. They are great...

    Pakistani Loaches

Not often no. I have a large 5" one. Still as active as the little ones.

    Rtm Tank Size.

4'x2'x2' minimum I'd say. Although, of course they would appreciate any extra space you could give them !

    Shy Severeum... Why?

It could be just the position/lighting/movement around the new tank they are in. I have two tanks, and have tried many severums in both of these tanks. They ALL hate one tank and love the other, whatever the tankmates are, or the set-up. I am convinced it is just the position of the tank in...

    Name That Cichlid.

    Smarty pants !! :P You're right of course !

Thinking Of Changing My Stock Around......

SOunds reasonable. Keith and the big cat will certainly appreciate the extra depth in the larger tank. Whatever you do at the moment, I know you're aware that you are constantly going to be needing to thin out stock from all tanks as they grow.

Will A Stunted Fish Ever Grow Larger?

This is correct, although not all stunted fish are abnormally shaped. A stunted fish will never reach the potential size of a "normal" one.

Another One Of Them Is It A Blue Acara Or Green Terror Thread.

I think that "orange-ish" band is due to lighting only. It's very faint and a very different hue to the orange on the dorsal fin. Assuming that's a BA yeah ?

Another One Of Them Is It A Blue Acara Or Green Terror Thread.

Bingo !! See post #10. Clearly shows remnants of the orange edging on the tail fin. The rest has been bitten off. Must be a GT.

    Tank Space Opening Up

Personally, I would not add any more cichlids to what you have. Too much chance of turning the tank into a war zone. Maybe add a small shoal of rainbow fish. Boesmanis are very nice !
