    Hi there, if these snails are small and brown, their eggs are on the live plants you buy at the lfs. They seems to multiply quite quickly, I have kept them in check with loaches, they like to eat snails. The snails do not harm the fish, but may eat your plants. Hope this helps. guppy crazy

    Single Platy Ok For A Few Weeks

    Hi ya, I kept a platy on its own for about a year and it seemed fine, I then decided to get some swordtails and now I've ended up with cross platy and swordtail. Back to your question....a single platy should be fine on its own.

    Hi, it's not generally recommended to keep male and female fighters together, I tried it in the past and had to seperate them as they were constantly fighting, they are only put together for breeding, and then split again after the eggs have been laid.
