Red wormqqs are being found in my guppy tank and when a fish eats the they die within a week I've heard that even though you clean your tank they still transmit through other infected fish poop any medication???

The fish which are left just rest on the salvina roots and just slowly become inactive and die out is it because of the plants and there was a rotting Lilly pads which I currently removed could it be something bcuz of it

My friend has a pond just about 10 gallon with dirty water but still manages to keep about 25 guppies without one being dead he does not even have an airstone

There are only about 7 adults and 3 juvies left but the are still dying I can't test the water since my lfs do not sell kits :(

The plants are giant salvinas they cover almost half the surface of the tub

I do 50% water changes every week I don't know anything about the parameters because my lfs do not sell test kits
