    Air Pump sound within the tank

    I have just setup a tank, and put in a powerfull air pump that drives both the undergravel filter and a wand... even though the air pump doesnot make sound at all, however if i put my ear to the tank i can hear the loud vibrating noise of the diaphram!!! is this dangerous to the fish?
