started my love for aquariums when I was 10, my dad bought a 10 gallon and the two of us kinda worked on it as a hobby...then I took over the basement with tanks. when I left for college I sold most of my tanks but kept my one lone marble male, chick pea, with me. have always had a tank or two, or three...angels are always the reason for the tank. not interested in breeding anymore but bought a bunch of angels hoping for a nice large angel peaceful school...nope. fights, mated pairs, small fry and mr hyde swooped fry from the golden pair at one time. so after separating everyone out, this is what I have....and I love them all.
I grew up on the east coast, now live in san diego California. I have been a veterinary nurse for over 40 years, working in small and large animals, and now work for a practice that does some exotics. luckily, one of the docs I work for loves fishies too, so I have someone to show pics of the fish too, everyone else rolls their eyes.
I have been called the queen of Halloween, truly my house gets covered with vintage décor as well as my tanks.

- I have 5 large tanks, my 55 is called the sorority, all the angels are ladys; Calista ,brush and hush are all golden marbles, and Rosie, and she is a cali. a 40gallon breeder with a pair, Mr. Hyde (not sure if he is a Zebra or just a striped) veil tail, and small fry is my other cali. 30 gallon has Dr. Jeckel (Hydes nice twin) and Perseus, a marble veiltail. a 20hex (hate that tank), with 1 evil but gorgeous marble, velvet, and my 29gallon that housed my goldens. I also have various betta tanks scattered around the house...at work.
