    60Ltr Tank Stocking

Thanks for the information, I can make a better decision now. My book didn't mention they were nippy or that they produce a lot of waste. Think I might not get one, as I already have another tank with goldfish in and I was rather hoping to have a slightly lower maintanence tank. Again thanks...

    60Ltr Tank Stocking

I'm in the process of setting up my 60ltr tank again and was just wondering if its ok to keep a bristlenose catfish with a few guppies in this size tank? My book says they don't grow to more than 12-15cm is this ture? If the catfish is not a good idea, then will cherry barbs live peacefully...

    Cloudy Water Issue!

Just to let you know I've gotten a larger tank and moved my fish into it, they seem happier although they are still settling in so they're hiding alot at the moment. So far so good, no issues with the water becoming clouding will keep up with cleaning the gravel though. Thanks for all you help!

    Cloudy Water Issue!

Yeah it is a Hong Kong pleco, so they don't grow more than 5cm in length. The one I have at the moment is about 4cm althogether. Okies, thanks for all the help; I've managed to work out where I can fit a bigger tank so I shall find one thats 150l or more and hopefully problem sovled. Thanks alot! :D

    Cloudy Water Issue!

I clean the filter in the old tank water that I take out, but if it doesn't need to be cleaned on such a regular basis I'll drop it down to maybe once a month.

Again thank you very much, in furture when I buy fish I come here for advice and not leave it up to the retail stores. Last question, what...

    Cloudy Water Issue!

I should mention I live in the UK so the products I am using may only be avaible in the UK. To test the water I use API liqiud tests, they are the only brand of liquid tests sold at pet shops and aquariums store I spent a few minutes checking before buying the products. The ammonia remover...

    Cloudy Water Issue!

The liquid test came back as 0ppm, I confirmed with the rest of my family that the water i had tested was indeed yellow which according to the ammonia colour card that came with the test kit means the ammonia levels are non-esixtance. The fliters used, as I said before, are design for larger...

    Cloudy Water Issue!

Right, the people that sold me the goldfish and pleco didn't have any problem with the size of the tanks, obvisouly this was a mistake. Unfornately I can't upgrade the size as I'm limited by space. I use filters that are designed for tanks twice the size of both of mine, I also clean the gravel...
