    Howdy from cow town!

LOL! I have this funny image in my head now.... If you can rub your tummy, head, AND wiggle your fins all at the same time....hmmm, what's the number to Guinness?

    Northern lights!

I've never seen them either, although I'm a bit south of you. I get up to Wyoming frequently but the nights are, well, pretty much like they are here. Except windier. And without the nasty brown haze. I try to get shots of the Perseids every year. And every year it's the same thing. Weather...

    tablet thoughts?

I'd get the cheapest KIndle you can-if you can stand being stuck in the Amazon ecosphere. They work with Libby. They'll be on sale soon with the holidays coming up and you should be able to get one under $50. I paid $35 for mine last year. Otherwise any cheap no-name from Walmart will do the trick.

    Howdy from cow town!

Thanks all! Being exceedingly good looking myself it looks like I'll fit right in. I'm more than willing to make fun of the Cowboys too but it'll be between rants about the Donkeys. @Innesfan, thank you for that. I'd have never guessed, and googles "figure things out gadget" generally can't even...

    Howdy from cow town!

Well, it used to be a cow town. Now it just smells like one. I generally don't bother with introductions whenever I join a new forum. The thinking being that the membership will figure me out once I've got a few posts under my belt. A recent online experience has given me a different...
