Sorry oldman the Molly had about 40 babies but ate most of them I saved 6. She didn't east the whole baby though just their stomachs. Then my Koi Sword tail had 70 babies. They are doing well!
Thanks man I plan on moving the filter because it's nicer than the one I'm getting with the tank. Sounds like your idea is about what I was planning on.
So I was wondering... I'm purchasing a 55 gal aquarium tomorrow. I already have a 30 gal aquarium. I'm planning on moving all of my 30 gallon fish into this. Can I put the water from my 30 into my 55, top it off, and move the fish into it right away. Mostly guppies sword tails and mollies...

Perfect thanks so much. I went back and looked at you post again after you replied to mine last night and I think I figured it out. Thanks for your help!

Ok so I'm a little confused. Does the term squared off describe the front to back section of the abdomen or should I be looking to width being square? or both? I've seen the pictures still each fish is different. Thanks for any input!
So some bad news te black one was literally laying on the bottom of the tank last night when I went to bed and this morning she was dead. She was huge. I guess it's possible she had something wrong with her too.
I have lots of cover but the babies are eaten anyway inless I catch them first. I havent left them in there 24 hours even and I let both out this morning Ill just keep an eye on them. seems mollies are much more likely to loose their babies due to stress. i never had problems with guppies in...
