Probably due to all of the other incredibly colored fish that were on display around him. Let me know if your ever down my way and we'll find one like him or even nicer for you.
Im sad to say the little white male I had has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was swimming and eating when he simply rolled on his side and died. Never saw anything like it. I was told that internal organ failure is not so uncommon with solid white bettas... Anyhow Ive replaced him with this...
If you all could see him personally you would see that his body is exceptionally small, with a normal size bettas eyes. Im hoping he going to grow into his eyes!
Ok, thats what I was wondering about. Thanks. :good: Ive gone back to keeping everyone separated except my two CT females.(They are a comical pair) We will take a look at this mustard gas "fish" in a couple months.
I will house them separately right away. Thanks for everyones responses!
Can someone please address the "ovipositor"?? Ive never seen one on a male, but then Im no expert.
I put this fish in my 29gal community tank which Ive always keep a male in, thinking it was a female. If there is any reason a male and female shouldnt be kept in an aquarium like that I wish someone would please tell me....At any rate we are going on 3 days now without so much as a nipped fin...
Ever try to get a close up pic of an ovipositor on a fish in a heavily planted aquarium? LOL 50 snap shots and I dont have a clear pic yet and its time to change my batteries! :hyper:
Now Im really confused. The fish is in with a tested male that does not play! Any encounters hes had with it...
