Hi guys! I have this betta and he has never had health problems... so to make a long story short, i put in his tank a female and he loved her...he didnt hurt her or anything, he just flared at her and swam around as happy as never before... and she liked it because she showed vertical stripes...

They didn't breed... I'm asking if I already bought her pregnant... Her tank was nearby another male betta's tank... I think they my have seen each other before the water was dirty..

Her scales are perfectly normal... Her size is just bigger. My male betta fish is like that too, he is really big and beefy.

I got a female for him today and he seems very interested... He HAS NOT made a bubble nest yet... She has lite vertical stripes on her .. Earlier when I put them together he was flaring and showing off to her... She was the only one that didn't swim away from him.. I've put other females...
