I see a lot of threads on here and elsewhere regarding water GH and KH levels, but this is something that we have never tested. We use the API liquid kit and just use the PH test in there, however I'm curious now about the GH & KH numbers.

I have no problem with shock collars for people! But dogs? Absolutely not! :D I much prefer animals to people lol
But in all seriousness, I consider shock collars a punishment (and a very cruel one at that) and separation anxiety boils down to fear so.......

I'm no expert by any means but to my untrained eye, that looks like the natural markings of the fish (assuming you mean the small white part on the bottom half of the tail?)

Not rare at all, but I think my favourite may be the Rummy Nose Tetra. I love the way they shoal together, their body shape is torpedo like.....it's very cool! And I like that they have pops of colour at both ends :D

We used to run a saltwater tank for our puffer fish Dotty :) the canister filter that was in there was donated and is now in my sisters freshwater tank and she has had no problems at all.
As others have said, it will need a thorough clean but it should be fine.
