Yeah fair enough, I have learnt that quickly too! Though from the guppies I have seen, it has been quite easy to distinguish between the males and females, with the males being far more colourful and exciting.

Quite a lot of those ones are also on my list too...have you thought about guppies? As long as you keep them in single sex groups they will not multiply like mad, and are very colourful!

I would definitely recommend the Fluval Roma 125 litre. I just got this myself and it is a nice size for a beginner yet big enough to house reasonable sized fish! Lots of places recommend getting at least 90 litres as it makes te whole process easier (more water volume results in less...
