Hi thanks for all the advice. It looks like it was long white poo. The shop said it should be OK and in fact a few days later all seems well. Had a sleepless night over this but all the fish seem well and fine, so big relief. thanks again folks Paul

Hi got 2 yellow Platies today and the femail has long white strands coming out from below, the under belly, she seems fine and is swimming, but now we have had the 3rd strand coming. The broken strands just float to the bottom of the tank. Any ideas on what this is? I am fairly new to keeping...
