My tank currently has zebra danios and tiger barbs. I have lost a few of these, so will be moving them to a bit smaller tank that is currently doing a fishless cycle. I will keep the danios and barbs in the 37 gal until the 25 is done cycling, so I have a bit of time to decide what to put in...
I have a 37 gallon tank already cycled and would like to stock it with African Cichlids. My question is would this tank be big enough to do this? Do these fish need more space than this? If it will work, which kind would be best? I realize I will not be able to have a bunch of them, but...
I had the same problem, so I put the newborns in a breeder net in the tank with the one month olds. They only stayed in there about a week until they were eating well and had grown a bit. They are all doing great now.
I have a dozen 5 week old guppy fry all housed together. My question is, when do I need to start trying to seperate out the males and females? They are all from the same batch and I do not want any inbreeding.
I have 2 almost 4 week old guppy fry in a 5 gal tank. The tank is starting to become over run with algae. Would it be safe to put in a smaller breed of pleco to keep it cleaned up? Like maybe a bristlenose, rubbernose (lip?) etc. I don't want to put something in there that will go after the...
The kit comes with two guides you clap on either side of the tank. Then you slide the plastic divider down in the two guides. You can cut the guides down to fit as well as the plastic divider. It was pretty easy. I don't remember what the name of it was, or the brand name.
I just divided my five gallon to add another betta. I just bought a kit from Petsmart for under $10 that you cut to fit. The divider already had lots of holes so I didn't have to get another filter. It works really well. No using sealants or drilling holes. It can be removed if I decide to...
I bought a divider for a 10 gal today and cut it down to fit my 5 gal. It seems to be working great and my betta boy seems happy to have some company. I added another male to the other side. The new boy was a bit shy at first, but is now out and about checking out his tank mate. I am still...
I have a 5 gal tank with a bowed front. I would like to divide the tank so I can put two bettas in (for company). Anyone have suggestions on how I might do this. I am guessing the regular tank dividers would not fit with the bowed front. Thanks for your help!
