Bettas fins are looking stringy and colors are dull.

Like it's not your tank so why are you worrying about it?

Well she's as happy as a clam swimming around the whole tank not bothering anyone. If betta do best on their own, how come there's so many successful sororities? She's got her colors, eats loads of food, and swims all day. Don't you have anything better to do than tell a teenager how their tank...

What are these greenish flecks on my Platy fish?

Hmmm it says white in it too? If you can't read

They're doing just fine right now. My beta gets plenty of room to swim and plenty food to eat. She has her territory marked out. She snails were the same size as her and she never messed with them. It's funny how you're telling me what my tanks like when you don't know but that's for your input.

There's some species that get along just fine with beta. It's all in their personality. She's lived with ADF, zebra Danios, albino Cory cats, mystery snails, and ghost shrimp. She's only ever killed one ghost shrimp. She minds her own business. How would you know what kind of personality my fish...

    Chasing danios

So I just got 6 zebras yesterday and they have been fed some frozen brine shrimp and pellets throughout the day. There's I believe 4 female and two male. I know they are a schooling fish but I've had lots of chasing going on. Is this just because that's their nature?

Well my betta does just fine with other fish. It's all in the personality

I have a betta in a 10 gal tank with some other fish and she does just fine. You should really upgrade to at least a 5 gallon tank. They need room to swim. I've had mine for a couple months and she's doing great. They DO NEED a heater since they are tropical fish and like the temp. around 75...

    Is it possible?

I have a big clear storage container and my house is usually warm and I can do water changes every day. Would that be ok? Our local pet store will buy them and I need a little bit of money for a bat I'm saving up for and I'm almost there plus if I order it now it'll be here by the time our...

    Bullied

No problem. I know I have small danios in with a beta so gotta keep an eye on them. It can be hard with fish that are smaller than others.

    Bullied

That's good. I'd keep him in there until he grows a little bigger so about the same size as the others then put him back in but monitor the other fishes behavior. He should be ok

    Bullied

Not sure how much his tail would grow back or if it would at all but I'd keep him away from the other for a while but in a breeding Tank in the larger one. Is he younger than the others? Smaller?

    Zebra Danios

What's the smallest size tank the spawning pair can be put into?
