Thought it was worth an update. The stocking is currently • my EBA • keyhole cichlid • a Bolivian ram • a Bristlenose pleco • a Siamese algae eater • 6 yellow rainbowfish • 3-4 leopard daniod • 5 sterbai corys All the fish are getting on well and I’m quite happy with how the tanks doing.

I think a Bristlenose pleco is a good choice. They are largish and my favourite fish in my tank and would highly recommend them.

I use them probably once or twice a week. They are one of my favourites as all my cichlids, cories, plecos, rainbows and danios like them. I don’t really have a “staple food” but they are certainly one of the foods I use the most. As I think I have 7-8 different types which I rotate.

Why? For having lots of discus!? People can enjoy keeping an overstocked tank without it being seen as “an ornament”. Many people keep tanks more stocked than others, if you look online many videos will have that many discus is a similiar size tank. I’ve never kept discus but I think it’s a...

A good question is how good filtration and how much water changes are you willing to do? I’m assuming you want the Oscar as the centrepiece? I would personally say a nice set up would be • an oscar • a pleco(your choice but nothing to big) • maybe one of the other species like the acaras Or •...

The yellow acara is beautiful. I agree with this and think the silver dollar would prefer a 75 gallon+ tank with at least 5 other silver dollars. However I’m happy that the combination is working for now.
