What i would probally do is get like 4-5 babies and see which ones pair off then get rid of the others.

That you so much for actually answering my question. I'll return the fish and i'm going to go out and buy a 75 gal tomarrow and research all i can while it's cycling, then after a few weeks of it running i'll concider a fish or 2, probally just 2 oscars. Thanks again.

i though they only grow to the size of the tank, i don't think they can actually get that big in a 10 gallon. I only have 6 fish in there. Should i put the filter back on?
