If you get some that don't take over, like a nice horned nerite. They add to the tank, for maintenance and another spin on life.

I've never quarantined snails.. never had any issues. Someone else may have more experience though.

I'd say it been over the past week the ballooning has happened. I'm thinking cyst from your advice. I'll give her a day or two, if things don't improve, I'll help her. Thanks 👍
