Thanks twintanks for the advice, I did see a change in their behavior this morning and just a few moments ago they seem to be moving around a bit more, no cloudiness of the eyes.  Tried calling pets at home but no answer so i'm off there now and will report back in an hour or so.   Thanks

I'm going to try my best, the little one keeps asking what's wrong with them and why aren't they jumping around as they used to, I've had to say they're very tired after jumping around for almost a month and now they need a good long rest so try not to bother them too much..   Can you recommend...

Thanks for replying fluttermouth, I'll be changing the water every day and adding DE chlorinator and fin rot fungus too, is there absolutely no chance of the tails growing back or their skin, may have to go to Pets at home and ask them if they will be willing to take them from me and help them...

Those test strips aren't too accurate, I would recommend investing in the API: Fresher Test Kit, liquid test solutions are the way to go for getting the best results.  There's not much you can really do at this point, I can't say we're sure your little buddies will recover from this.   Thanks...

Placed the goldfish back into tank last night not sure I should add the fin rot liquid every day or just on daily water change, the water look clear enough and I dropped in a few flakes last night and none since, all help appreciated... https://youtu.be/LZwbg3E-l8A

Used Tetra 6 in 1 strips, de chlorinated water and added fin rot and fungus liquid, waited 15 mins for the filter to mix the water. Test results CL2 0-0.8  PH 6.8-7.2  KH 3d  GH 4d N02 0-1 N03 0-10 I added a tiny amount of tetra goldfish flakes and popped the two survivors in as the results...

Not quite sure as to what these poor fish have got but I'm hoping to get them back in the tank by tomorrow evening after adding the medication, hoping that by the weekend I can see some improvement otherwise it's game over..

The tank I have is the Aqua 30 Ciano Aquarium (25L) has a bright led light and a internal CF40 ciano filter it has the carbon activated foam filter and currently has the Ciano water clear cartridge fitted within the filter, 200 L/H 10L - 40L, there is also a biological cartridge and a stop algae...

Someone decided to clean the tank with fairy liquid and the stones , luckily I walked in before the fish were added. Both of them are in a see through 10 litre tub, they've only been in for 4 hours and the fluffy tail has decreased in size on one of them, When I get time in the evening tomorrow...

They still seem lively but instead of gliding across the tank to the food they now waddle, I hope I can get them better.. Thanks

Picking up an all in one 5 test kit today hopefully I will have some data to put up very soon, in the mean time I'm thinking of taking the goldfish out and placing in a plastic see through tub probably holds 20 litres, or should I place them in separate tubs and then medicate. Whats the chances...

It's been 6 weeks since ciano 30 (25L) was setup, 2 goldfish entered the tank but in the last week or so one of them has a white fluffy area where the tail used to be and the other one seems to be losing its skin from the tail end covering 1/4 of the body.  Unaware and negligent on my part we...
